April slipped away faster than I could imagine. Between back to back recording sessions, turning 24 (eek), and endless rainy days, there was so much to do and not nearly enough time to be.
One of my biggest life-hacks regarding being present is crafting + savoring meals. I love funky bowls, plates, and cups for that as well as colorful, fresh ingredients. Throw a few chopped up chickpeas, grapes, and walnuts into any salad for the Gill special, and, of course, enjoy it in the sunshine.

Hands down the coolest instrument I discovered this month is the Marvin. It was brought in on a session and used for a mix of metallic + percussive textures. It was created by Adam Morford + named after his grandfather. The company, Morfbeats, has a diverse group of unique instruments. CHECK IT OUT!
